View from a professionist by Salvo Correri

With my experience in performing live and working in studio I added what help I could to the constructeurs of ThreeGuitars, brothers Paolo & Franco Turra and their friend Gianni Tensi to take a very good design into a perfect design.
This guitar has a remarkable personality that should not be ignored by the professional players.
Using material like carbon fibre and aluminium have already been successful experimented by very famous brands from all around the world like Ned Steinberger,Parker,Kramer and Stonheenge but now let's go into the specific.
The ThreeGuitars META-Salvo Correri Signature is comfortable as soon as it's grasped.
The particular carbon fibre with which it has been made provides a neck with a thick "C"section gives the feeling of grasping a wooden neck with a fine brushed finish.
The fingerboard,equipped with medium-jumbo keys are very well calibrated and polished.
The body is built with a 4 cm thick billet in aeronautics aluminium and made completely hollow,the back is covered by a carbon fibre panel and functional way with a sober and thin style,underlined by the exclusive finishing of Chamaleon Aurora Blue.
The peghead is made in aluminium with three mechanical auto lock sperzel per side and stick in the neck leaving the space for the nut made in exclusive low friction material.
The weight of the instrument is about 3,8 kg and compares to the others found on the in the market.
The META Salvo Correri Signature like all other respectable guitars of the noveau rich variety incorporates quality super tested hardware.
To start from the excellent vibrato bridge Wilkinson vs 100 specially modified with a compression springs and passive electronic system with Seymour Duncan pickups 59 & Custom to the neck and to the bridge, with the classical 5 positions selector which allows to split the two magnets.
The first thing you notice connecting the guitar to the amplifier is the considerable volume generated with an extremely variable dynamic depending on the touch and a invidiable sustain.
The carbon fibre and the kind of keys used allow excellent definition of all the notes on all the fingerboard's length leaving a very little space make mistakes.
This guitar enables us to obtain tones that go from a very delicate sound to an extremely violent one without ever loosing presence and clarity.
I define the META a very fast action guitar enabling the player to reflect with immediate execution what goes throught the mind and hands.
Why a guitarist should have a META?
Well there are a lot of reason and the majority are pratical and technical, but in particulary because the META does not want to invent anything new not even has the pretentiousness to overwhelm others brands but it can be part
of the instrument gear of a professional because of its exceptional quality.
Thanks to materials used the META is 100% reliable when it is perfectly tuned it remains absolutely precise.
It Would be an excellent companion when tour or situations of variation of climate.

".. premettendo che queste parole non sono uno spot pubblicitario ma un sincero commento a ruota libera, definire le ThreeGuitars con una affermazione è alquanto semplice: le chitarre definitive per chi con le chitarre ci lavora sul serio !!! Non parlo del fatto che questi strumenti abbiano la pretesa di imitare le classiche sonorità di alcuni marchi storici (anche perché ci sono già da decenni gli originali sul mercato), ma di uno strumento con una propria ben definita personalità ed un valore di affidabilità al 100% !!!

Il modello che uso, la Meta Salvo Correri signature, ha una tavolozza sonora veramente camaleontica, permettendomi di passare da timbriche pulite e cristalline a suoni veramente aggressivi senza mai perdere una delle peculiarità più importanti di questo strumento: la perfetta intellegibilità timbrica, infatti qualsiasi sia la posizione del selettore dei pick ups, il suono esce sempre ben definito dal mix generale, e questa e' una vera manna dal cielo sia per i fonici che per i produttori più esigenti !!

Inoltre il materiale innovativo utilizzato per costruire la chitarra rende lo strumento totalmente affidabile nella situazione live dove caldo ed umidita' sono da sempre nemici giurati degli strumenti in legno.

Concludendo, posso solo essere contento ed onorato che ThreeGuitars mi abbia scelto come endorser di queste "fuoriserie" perche' posso contribuire a portare il marchio ed il Made in Italy con fierezza ed orgoglio in tutto il mondo !!"

Meta Special ThreeGuitars

Una chitarra di metallo per suonare metallo!
Da un anno ormai utilizzo questa chitarra innovativa di ThreeGuitars ed ho deciso da tempo di farne una scommessa personale, insieme agli “eccentrici” costruttori .
Non vi nascondo che quando sul mio cellulare apparve un sms nel quale mi venne proposto di provare una Meta Special ThreeGuitars i miei pensieri furono contrastanti. Suonando da ormai 16 anni ho avuto occasione di provare molte chitarre , di marche e qualita’ diversa, ma tutte costruite con una materia prima dominante :il legno.
La scelta caparbia di costruire una Chitarra di Metallo e Carbonio quindi mi lasciava un po’ perplesso su alcuni aspetti quali ad esempio il peso di queste ThreeGuitars, il calore del suono, ecc.ecc.
D’altro canto la curiosità di sapere come uno strumento ‘’Metallico’’ fosse utilizzabile per fare ‘’Metallo’’ era molta. La possibilità di scordare fino all’impossibile le corde. La possibilità di violentare lo strumento con la leva ad ogni singola risonanza distorta mi allettava parecchio.
Mi sono bastati 5 minuti per capire che la chitarra fa esattamente tutto questo, ma la cosa della quale ancora non mi capacito è come faccia questo strumento a farsi maltrattare musicalmente e nello stesso tempo a non scordarsi mai, ad essere violento e devastante ma anche, all’ occorrenza, dolce e suadente.
Vantaggio n. 1 L’affidabilità, la certezza che lo strumento non si scordi nemmeno dopo due ore e più di live, senza mai ritoccarla fra un brano e l’altro. Il problema di tutti i chitarristi che suonano concerti con una certa frequenza. Io l’ho risolto con Meta Special ThreeGuitars. L’affidabilità per me è tutto.
Vantaggio n. 2 Versatilità del timbro sonoro. La mia Meta Special ThreeGuitars è dotata di pick-up I-Spira, che a mio avviso sono versatili per suonare ogni genere dal blues al rock ‘n’roll per poi passare al Metal più estremo. Proprio come piace a me. E’ molto sensibile al cambiamento del tocco. Cambi il modo di suonare, il tocco e l’intensità, e la chitarra ti dà una risposta immediata,la dinamica Vera.

E’ molto buono. Ad ogni nota si sentono le vibrazioni addosso in virtù del fatto che il corpo è vuoto e fa da cassa armonica anche per ovvi motivi di peso. Un ottimo modo per sentire la musica in tutti i sensi, oltre che dall’amplificatore.
I puliti sono veramente impressionanti, con una buona risposta sui medio bassi, e selezionando il pick up al manico la profondità del suono è formidabile. Lo definirei uno strumento " sensibile " in ogni condizione. Sensibile nel suono perchè non è una chitarra “a senso unico” o monosuono come ce ne sono tante. E' uno strumento MUSICALE: quello che ogni musicista si augura di trovare .
